Food standards agency
For this project I was contracted through an agency to work as a User Researcher for the Food Standards Agency. They were interested in building a pattern library that could be used for consumer facing campaigns to educate users about food safety.
MY ROLE
As part of a small team (solutions architect, UI designer, developer) I contributed to:
- User research – validating market research and drawing out themes to guide design
- Desk research – to identify market best practice and current research on social media calls to action
- Ideation & Design – workshopping ideas with the client to understand the user flow and brainstorm ideas based on their knowledge and our research
- Wireframes – based on research visualise the elements that will have the most impact
- Usability Testing – planning and facilitating usability testing based on the designs from the UI designer
- Report writing – reviewing and reporting back on testing results as well as writing a presentation for stakeholders
